Could I be a youtuber?

I've found that I really enjoy making videos for you guys. I feel I have a lot to say about all the issues surrounding atheism and religion. Also, you'll have noticed I make stupid videos just for a laugh. Of course, I try to inject humour into my serious videos too to make them more entertaining.

I'm wondering if there was any chance that I could get anywhere with it outside of my circle of friends. So I'm looking for brutally honest opinions here. I'm making the poll private (I can't see who has voted what) and no comments are necessary, unless you want to make them. I'd rather hear the truth and just stick to little vids for you guys than make a fool of myself trying to take it any further.

EDIT: Whoops! It seems like I can see who voted what, maybe because I'm a mod. I'll see if there is a way around this.

Of course, my current videos are a bit of a mess and the production values are zero. So if I could get the energy and expertise, I'd work on making them much more slick and presentable before expecting people to watch them. What I want to know is if the potential is there. So please choose between:

1) I might have some potential for both the serious and the stupid stuff.

2) I might have some potential if I stick to just the serious stuff.

3) I'm probably not very likely to succeed. This could be for whatever reason, such as: (you don't have to state which!)

a) My content isn't interesting/good enough
b) I don't the personality for it
c) My content is redundant compared to the youtubers already out there

I won't take any offense if everyone says I'm not up to the task, I would appreciate the honesty if that is the case. This is probably all pie in the sky, but it's something I could aspire to in time. I wouldn't be aiming for massive success or anything, just a little audience who would be interested in me.
