I don't remember much of the books...I need to read those things again... [aloud?]

I won't care, honestly.  I've never been a purist between books and tv or movie adaptations.  I know that different mediums require different kinds of story telling that often require alterations in the story.  I'm a huge reader, and there have only been a handful of times when I've hated a TV or movie adaptation.  Dean Koontz's Watchers was one, because they basically changed the whole point of the story, and the movie just sucked even as a stand alone story.  But mostly,

, Coraline, The Hunger Games, The Lord of the Rings (the Hobbit I'm kind of meh on, mostly because it was toooooo long), Memoires of a Geisha, and a ton of others.

Anyway, my point is, I have not cared about how the TV show has diverged from the existing books, so I doubt I will care when the books finally come out (if they ever do!) and they diverge from the TV show.  I'm just happy to get some of the story, because I very much fear Martin will kick the bucket before he ever finishes the books anyway.
