and for what it's worth, Aurora, my comments about judgment are not directed toward you, I hear what you are saying and agree to a point. I guess I am talking about the tome of this whole thread.

I also know what you mean.  Certainly some people do this kind of thing in a fully judgmental and unkind way, but I'm just saying that those who entirely dismiss the concern of strangers aren't being fair either.  Do you ever watch that show, "What would you do?".  Strangers can be full of actual concern more often than we realize.  And it's a good thing, too!  Empathy is what keeps society working.
