That said, even in this terrible situation, you can't coach a witness from the public area or interpret what she's saying, and when told to be quiet, you can't cuss out the judge. And then, when hauled up before said judge, you're going to jail if you cuss him out again in front of an entire courtroom.
The judge misinterpreted the FOUR YEAR OLD CHILD WHO HAD JUST BEEN SEXUALLY ASSAULTED. Yet he's not willing to cut the guy any slack for trying to, in reality, help the judge make the decision faster, and provide clarity in the case.
You're going to say "That's not how it works". I get it. But the judge is not a robot, he's a person too. I would understand completely if the defendent pointed it out as against the rules of the court, and the judge was made to enforce it. However that's not the case, and there was no reason to point it out regardless of the rules, it's not like he's breaking the rules by not enforcing it, not directly at least.
I don't know what to say really. I know it's his job to enforce the rules. But I just feel like we've lost our sympathy.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?
Truth doesn't accommodate to personal opinions.
The choice is yours.
