I mean if she had said "No, I believe in god, just not Eternal Damnation" that'd be fine. She'd be a Deist. Or at least if the Devil said "Oh, a Deist. How disappointing" or something.
Oh, ok. That kind of makes me want to sit through it to watch - mainly because I don't have anything to watch at the moment. But seriously, this show is really, really bad in some instances. It's ridiculous how bad it is, and I mean that at an obviously technical level, not just my personal opinion of it.
Like, for instance, they can't show the effect of the angel flying away. I feel like watching some very old low-budget shitty movie when they hide that shot. The acting just makes me cringe sometimes, it's all so unoriginal and strained. I could go on...
Holy fuck. Obviously it's not great. Hell, the entire premise is flawed, and if the devil actually were to come down, the power "restrictions" displayed with lucifer on the show would be laughable. The girl is a terrible skeptic, she doesn't draw conclusions AT ALL and is completely dumbfounded that someone who's multiple times displayed supernatural powers, could actually be who he says he is. She looks online for answers, and doesn't even remotely look for the correct thing that could potentially explain what's occurring.
Yet, I have decided to ignore all that, because there's no way you will ever enjoy anything with that attitude.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?
Truth doesn't accommodate to personal opinions.
The choice is yours.
