You're right about the importance of questioning things. Now take that a step further and question the plausibility of a cabal in the Department of Justice. I've got news for you: Keeping secrets is hard - especially in an open society like ours. Even minor secrets are hard to keep. What you're talking about would rock the whole freaking world. Do you have any idea of the risk to the perpetrators - and to the nation? If it got out that one branch of the US government conspired to assassinate a major figure in another, it would ruin us. The USA would lose just about every bit of credibility, respect and influence it has. As bad as Scalia was, his death wouldn't merit that kind of risk to anyone.
