William Lane Craig's last math class was in high school?!

William Lane Craig's last math class was in high school?!
He graduated from Wheaton College with a bachelor's degree in Communications:

http://www.reasonablefaith.org/william-l...ulum-vitae

However, that degree does not require any courses in mathematics:

http://www2.wheaton.edu/Registrar/catalo....htm#Major

Therefore, the only math courses that Craig would have had to take would be the following:

Quote:Quantitative Skills - (0-2 hours)
The student will be able to demonstrate an appropriate skill level in the following areas: 1) basic statistics, 2) simple algebra, 3) calculator usage, 4) areas and volumes, 5) ratio and proportion, 6) exponential growth and decay, 7) spreadsheets, 8) counting, 9) dimensions and units, 10) function and basic calculus concepts. This requirement must be completed by the end of the sophomore year.
[Image: ug_acad_policies_image001.png]       Pass QUANTITATIVE SKILLS TEST offered by the Mathematics Department during Orientation and during the A Quad of each semester (waives requirement; no credit)
        OR
[Image: ug_acad_policies_image001.png]       Pass MATH 101 Quantitative Skills (2)
        OR
[Image: ug_acad_policies_image001.png]       Pass one of the following courses at Wheaton or transfer in credit for one of the following:
                                MATH 221 Applied Calculus (4)
                                MATH 231 Calculus I (4)
                                MATH 232 Calculus II (4)
                                MATH 233 Calculus I (2)
MATH 263 Introduction to Statistics (4)

Students with AP Calculus AB score of 3, 4, or 5, or AP Calculus BC score of 2, 3, 4, or 5 or IB Mathematics HL score of 5 or greater meet competency requirement.

But, if Craig simply took the "quantitative skills test", he would not have had to take any math classes in college, which means that his most recent math class was from high school!

Now, one of the classes at Wheaton in the Communications depart is called, "COMM 171: Intro to Acting (Spring, 2)".  Of course, colleges change their degree requirements from time to time, but degree requirements are, for the most part, fairly static.  In addition, none of Craig's "advanced" degree programs were in the area of mathematics or even required mathematics, which means that his last math class was from high school!
