People on the forums "pushing his books" is not HIM pushing atheism on anyone. People are free to purchase or not purchase his books just as atheists are free to purchase or not purchase William Lane Craig's publications.

You don't become known publicly as influential without being a voice of authority. The fact that many recognize him as being influential, means he must influence someone.
But doesn't necessitate that he goes around trying to force people to become atheists.

But, again, writing books that some people like and share doesn't mean that HE goes around pushing atheism. If that's the criteria you're using than JK Rolling is "Pushing witchcraft" because she wrote books about a boy-wizard.
