Dynamics being: starts, stops, false stops, reversals, strange and interesting key changes, buildups, and bridging. Flow is more about going along with the drum beat and keeping a steady rythm going, much like Korn, Seven dust, and Disturbed does.
Being a musician I like both styles, but I personally prefer good dynamics as I can appreciate the talent and complexity involved in it...such as Wake up dead from Megadeth. It is very complex and I think it speaks volumes of the artists skill.
