About the fireworks, wouldn't the bits of bone and teeth that didn't get burned up during the cremation process be shrapnel?

Any act of embalming would remove all possibility of residual biological function lingering into any such unpleasant surprises by replacing blood with antibiotic embalming fluid and rupturing major internal organs.
