I totally agree with you. I can almost feel the conflict within Atlas through his words.

If a God is going to be mad at you for doing what you want to do, with another consensual adult, and hurting no one, God is a prick. He is the repressed one. Why would the master of the whole universe want people to shut off part of who they are? There is literally nothing wrong with being gay or bisexual. It's perfectly natural. It's harmless. The only hurt is to the feelings of bigots. All that is wrong are the attitudes religion and societies have towards it. Things are getting much better, generally, I'm happy to say. At least in some parts of the world.

Also, people don't get "turned gay". It doesn't work like that. People can, however, deny their feelings (or not recognise them) and bury them so far down that they convince themselves they are not gay or bi. Once it finally bursts through, and they admit it at least to themselves, they have not turned gay. They have learned about themselves. And it's not a bad thing they have learned.
