Hmm. I suppose we should be grateful he's not killing people and such. Would he be, if not for the delusions of his soul hanging in the balance? Hard to say. If he cares about his own well-being, which he seems to, then running afoul of the law isn't a good plan. Would he do it if he could get away with it, with no consequences? That's an interesting question.
I'm not just trying to psycho-analyse drich in particular here, but anyone lacking empathy. Expecting them to be responsible, accept their "condition" and to seek the correct help, is probably asking the impossible. Drich has made it clear that his idea of "morality" in no way factors in the well-being of anyone but himself. This is entirely consistent. He just wants to get his final reward, by spreading the message to "just obey". That's probably what he's doing here actually. Scoring points.
I just can't be mad at him. I know I should be, part of me wants to be. But I genuinely think he has no empathy, and not through his own actions. So what I can realistically expect from him just isn't the same as I could expect from an average person. That doesn't mean I endorse or excuse anything he does or says. Just that I hold him less accountable than I would someone who does have empathy. I still fully discourage anyone else from following his example, in any capacity. But part of my own subjective morality, when applied to others, is to do with accountability and capability.
It hardly matters we're getting off topic since this was, if anything, a cry for help post if not just an attempt to annoy people. Maybe this discussion will help him learn something about himself, and give him a new perspective.
