Completely left out was the fact that her boyfriend had been violent, and he had a history of violence against her. They were also lenient because she showed remorse, administered first aid, and had children to take care of as well-- which were all considered when they sentenced her.

Now how about in Texas, where a man got probation for killing his Trans girlfriend?

Oh and of course Ethan Couch getting probation for killing four people in a drunk driving incident. Which pretty much everyone knows by now.
So even if the sentencing is a little unfair, it happens for men as well.
