Okay, on a seriouser note:
Why must it be one thing or the other? Seems to me that there are internal, deliberate pronouncements: Like I am thinking this right now but no one knows. Ha ha. But, oh noes, the fingers be typing my thoughts. Argh!
Or thoughts can come in an invited but open mode as when a writer creates a character's dialog. Or thoughts can come despite your most strenuous efforts to bar them. Like, at a funeral service, must not think of funny thing the dead guy once said .. pttfff .. HAHAHAH! Damn.
Sometimes I wonder how aware we all are of the difference between when we're in a receptive mode of 'listening' to thoughts versus a projective mode 'composing them'.
