I'd say if two parents are there and one can take them out, sure. But what do you do if it is a single parent especially with more than one kid, then it might not be so reasonable.
It would make more sense for a single parent to go to more child friendly restaurants. The rest of society does not have to deal with your problems, if you got a divorce, the father or mother walked out on you, or any other reason. It was generally your choice to have a child, and or children. It would be unfair for a person without children to have there meal disturbed or ruined cause of your life choices.
