First off your genitals DO NOT define your sexual preference or sexual identity, the brain does.
Secondly, Gemini in an earlier post already said why, if she uses the women's bathroom, she gets harassed and with both bathrooms she has to fear the risk of being assaulted because of asshole bigots.
This is really fucking stupid. Gay men have always shared bathrooms with straight men. While assholes still condemn them there are not widespread demands that gays have a separate bathroom. Same with lesbians, they share restrooms with heterosexual women all the time. I have no doubt everyone here has been in a bathroom with someone gay at some point in their lives.
And again, the least of anyone's worries as far as risk of peeping or molestation or rape is going to be a transgendered. Especially in a high traffic public bathroom. Peeping and molestation and rape are far more likely to be committed by heterosexual men and far more likely NOT to happen in a bathroom, especially not a high traffic bathroom.
