The third and final round of this exchange... this time, all my words are actually my own. (Hehe.)
Joshua Comer Wrote:+Robert Richardson lol one I never called you a "hoe" that was a typo and I didn't assume your were trans. 2 there are many many many transgender people that you can tell are trans I mean have you fucking seen Bruce genner. 3 you say you are a feminist but you don't give a shit about women's safety obviously. do you know how many disgusting cases have been reported in the last month about women being raped in restrooms and girls molested. 4 I don't give a shit if transgender people are uncomfortable. I'm uncomfortable anyway serious injury is at stake here. this is complete bull shit. you don't even have to be transgender to go into the bathrooms. I just watched a video where a man said he was just uncomfortable and asked if he could go into the ladies room. you throw all of that science and chemicals in the brain hull shit at me when I don't give a shi about trasngender people! I honestly couldn't give any fuck whatsoever to them. it's the fact that this new right allows any person that any given person that says they feel "uncomfortable" can walk into the opposite genders bathroom. your such a dumb ass.
I Wrote:+Joshua Comer Wait, I don't get it. On the one hand, you're saying that allowing trans women to use the ladies' room will allow rapes to start happening because men will impersonate trans women to make restrooms more rape-prone, necessitating a law to stop it, or else you get to claim I (and others) don't care about women... but then you talk about how many men just walk into women's restrooms to commit rape, already. It doesn't work both ways. It's not like the assaults just started happening when Caitlyn Jenner transitioned, and the mouth-breathers everywhere suddenly noticed that trans people really exist. Oh, NOW suddenly you're all worried about the rape epidemic!
Our rape culture has always been a dangerous problem, for reasons way too complicated to go into in a comments section... but demonizing a vulnerable group WHO HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT (as even your side admits) on the odd chance that a few of those rapists MIGHT try to use the cross-dressing to pull off the ongoing rape epidemic in a new way, is dangerous and counterproductive. You may not care about anyone who is different from yourself or what you find normal, but the rest of us do. If you really want to learn what feminism is, or how to actually do something about stopping rape culture, there have been probably a thousand books published on exactly that subject by feminist authors. This is not and has never been about actually protecting women, or we'd have heard from your side about it, long ago. This is about shaming those who are different, about whom you "couldn't give any fuck whatsoever", and finding an after-the-fact excuse to justify this revulsion. If you really REALLY care about women, try reading just two books recommended by groups like Feministing.
Feminism is about treating women equally, with full dignity and humanity, not about pretending they are pretty little princesses who need our male protection. And it's certainly not about policing who gets to be properly called a woman and who doesn't, as if the world was black and white.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost
I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.
