I think veganism is just too difficult for me, personally.
However, about the preaching, I actually find meat eaters to be the aggressive ones when it comes to this topic. Even mention you are vegan or vegetarian (Like, not in a preachy way, but say, Oh, sorry, I don't eat meat), and prepare to be lectured for 7 pages on a forum, or 30 min IRL, about why YOU are making unhealthy or "trendy" lifestyle choices. Just look at this thread and who is being preachy and pushy?
Look at poor Rob in this thread, he just mentioned it and was bombarded til he left the thread.
I usually don't talk about it now, people immediately get super defensive about eating meat (see this thread!). I only posted here because I felt bad for Rob.
