Great comments on here from you guys, I don't have much to add. I found Danaerys command to Jorah, and there whole exchange including him finally telling her to her face that he will love her til he dies, to be equally touching.
Tyrions expressions while Varys talked to the red priestess was a bit of much needed humor for this episode, as is the continued flirting looks from Tormund to Brienne and her responding eyeroll. The humor mixed with the really emotional scenes worked.
Also, Sophie turners acting in scene 1, spot on! She has certainly improved over the years.
