The study, ironically by the political group Muslim Council of Britain, claims that it is possible for this population trend to continue nearly yearly (instead of by decade) for your little statistic to be true.

I will be long dead and forgotten before then so I don't care if it happens or doesn't happen. However, the muslim population is growing due to the uncontrolled influx of refugees as well as domestic conversions. As for the 60% figure it's certainly stretch at this time. But when you consider all of the demographic changes that are happening it could easily reach 40%. For instance, just a few years ago the only language spoken in Nashville TN schools was redneck English. Considering the fact that London just elected a muslim mayor and that some areas of London are approaching 50% muslim density it's logical to think that changes like that will accelerate cultural changes.
Heck, when America was in the midst of Jim Crow in the 1930s Mussolini said that America would have a black President within 100 years.
