And yeah, we've got our share of bats in the belfry. I recall seeing a letter in a local free newspaper about fifteen years ago, from some nutsack banging on about creation and the impossible "half an eye" thing. This was way before I started getting into this stuff in more than just a rudimentary default way, and I remember saying to Sam even back then what a fucking idiot this was. I mean, I'd never come across that sort of idiocy before and hadn't yet discovered Richard Dawkins' explanation, but even after a moment's thought I'd managed to work out the basics for myself.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
