Other sentient species?
Intuitively, on the basis of statistical probability, I think it's virtually impossible for there not to be, but that's not evidence.
Why would a species advanced enough to come here be bothered with such a nasty, aggressive, vicious and stupid species as homo sapiens sapiens?
On what basis can we dare make the assumption such a species would be benign?
I'm perfectly happy never to meet an alien, except on the remote (?) chance they might have the technology to extend my life by say 500 years and would freely do so
