There is a tiny minority including the lobby NRA itself that is holding the entire nation hostage. The fear marketing by the NRA is allowing a few to prevent any pragmatic laws in place. There most certainly are just enough "they're gonna take away all the guns". They have been selling that bullshit fear for decades, the GOP and NRA said the same thing about Obama and they are pulling the same bullshit with Hillary. This was never about gun rights, this has always been about protecting the profits of one industry!
