The point is that she cannot beat a muck-raker like Trump with this on the table. She just can't. It is party suicide to put her in the ring against that man, even if you, I, and everyone on this forum votes for her. I'm sorry, dude. She's fucked.
That's not why I won't vote for her. I won't vote for her because I will not recognize her as a legitimate political candidate after everything she has done to steal this nomination. I will not vote for somebody who does not respect the vote, no matter who I'm voting against.
Some people may say a write-in vote is a vote for Trump, and those people really can go fuck themselves. Voting is an act of free speech, and nobody gets to tell me what I'm saying with my vote, even if I withhold it because I do not support any candidates.
Im just curious, are you a Bernie supporter? I suggest that you do the survey at isidewith.com I found that I'm 91% aligned with Bernie and Jill Stein. And I'm 89% aligned with Hillary. The libertarian candidate and Donny were a lot lower. I way more prefer bernie from and an ideological stand point but Hillary is not a bad 2nd choice for me.
This is an important point. Hillary's *policies* are very close to Bernie's (or, at least, *far* closer than anyone else's). People who vote on the content of a politician's beliefs and message will gladly vote for one if the other is no longer running. People who care more about the "I support X" part than the "because X will be good for America" part are, well... not thinking things through, I'll say, charitably.
