From the 50's, 60's onwards, any non English European (inc middle east) were called wogs.
It obviously was intended as a derogatory term.
Now the influx of Europeans has stopped, it's hardly used.
Again, it's all about context. My Aussie wife says "I think I'll make your favourite wog food that your mother taught me"
I say Yum, when? !!!!!
These days I hear the young ones just saying towelheads, sandwogs currymunchers and thinnies.
Even second generation Indians don't want more refugees because " the bastards take our jobs!" He he
Sadly, our biggest racism is still towards the true Australians, our native aborigines.
I blame it all on our pommie roots!
