Where did science originally come from ? Something Unusual maybe ?

I'll be the first to admit, I use to think science was a witch. Literally, an old crone disguising herself as a man, with a moustache, in a lab coat, peddling gingerbread houses of "enlightenment" to the unsuspecting masses. I actually kind of, sort of, still do once in a blue moon.

But luckily, I happen to love gingerbread; The molasses gives it that old-time apothecary, science-y flavor.
