On the plus side, the Southern Baptist Convention passed a resolution exhorting their 'brothers and sisters in Christ to discontinue the display of the Confederate battle flag as a sign of solidarity of the whole body of Christ, including our African American brothers and sisters'. It's not binding, but it's something. They also passed a resolution encouraging families and churches to welcome and adopt refugees into their churches and homes, in contrast to Donald and many other conservatives who are losing their crap over the idea of allowing refugees who are Muslim into the country (even though we've done the same with 100s of thousands previous Muslim refugees, before they got to be big news).
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
