All I know is that actor who played Rikkon must have been pretty pissed off. His character came back on the show after a few years, only to be held captive and killed off... Did he even have a line this season? Poor guy.
Of course - that could have been avoided. I'm pretty sure, that "negotiation" scene - between Ramsey and Jon, the day before the battle - would have played out differently, if Sansa had told anyone about the Knights of the Vale. They would have been the ones with a stronger army, therefore they could have offered - for example - to spare the bastard's life, if he returned Rikkon unharmed.
Oh, well - I guess Sansa wanted the kid dead. Which sort of makes sense, in a dark, twisted way, if you think about it - maybe she wants to rule the North herself and her legitimate brothers - as well as her husband, Ramsey - would stand in her way. I wonder - what she'll do to Bran, if he ever returns from beyond the Wall?...
Not only that, but they made sure to humilliate his character by putting several other arrows into his dead body.
