If Satan made gay people... then doesn't that make Satan ultimately good? One might even argue he ought to be the hero of the story. Creating a persecuted people, and never drowning them. Seems like a pretty upstanding fellow. I mean there's the whole Job thing, but Job easily replaces his family so is he really that good of a guy to begin with?
