Why I am a European

I am a citizen of the world. (where have I heard this before?)
I know I won't see it in my lifetime, but I'd like to see all the world's regional governments getting together and sorting things out as one.

Until then, we must contend with smaller groups like the EU, the US, China, etc...

Yes, I'm also. But I didn't fully appreciate that before I got an internet connection, back in the early 90ies, and suddenly could communicate with folks in differents parts of our globe, to learn they're not that different.

But, as of now, I settle for my neighbourhood and try what little I can do to prevent it from falling apart.
