I rather suspect that much of the light sentencing for women in this area of crime has to do with dudes high fiving each other in back rooms over "man where was she when I was that age?!" whereas an older dude and 16 year old girl is a situation for predation, as far as they're concerned. It's about who you think is allowed to fuck whom. 16 year old boy scores with a mom? Man, what a stud. 16 year old girl fucks an older dude? Something wrong with her. The older woman is something out of a Hot for Teacher fantasy. The older man is something out of Lolita.
That isn't feminism - that's a fucked up society, and much of perpetuated by both men and women. Reasonable feminists - of which there are many - are quick to point out that giving women an equal footing only helps men. Because lord knows we're aware that men get harassed and raped too, and treated as abominably as women about it because "you're a man, deal with it" or "men want sex all the time" etc.
This woman clearly has issues.
