I have over a thousand posts on christianforums.com, nearly all of which are in the apologetics forum. I have a couple posts and threads in other areas, most of which were because there was no apologetics forum at the time. So I've seen my share of crazy and I know what I'm talking about.
So let me tell you that aside from his use of profanity, Drich an accurate representation of them in terms of where he falls on the asshole spectrum and where he falls on the insanity spectrum. His apologetic gymnastics are exactly as I've seen everywhere. I think he engages in profanity here because he's allowed to, and because we use it at him. Profanity is, of course, not allowed at christianforums.com, so I think that most apologists would act like him if they came here and I think he would act like them there if he went there.
And if you have doubt, ye of little faith, let me tell you some of the batshit insane stuff I've heard from users who are definitely not sockpuppet accounts:

Before the Tower of Babel, everyone spoke what we know as Olde English. The 1611 King James version was written in the original language of the patriarchs. This guy's slogan thing below his name is "SCIENCE CAN TAKE A HIKE." It's in all caps.
Nutjob #2:
The contradictions in the Old Testament regarding kings (their ages and reigns) are not meaningful because there is no timeline (still doing WTF cartwheels on this one). This guy claims that at one point God picked him up and took him above the earth so he could see it like an astronaut.
I think there were some other classics but I can't think of them at the moment. And it goes without saying that most of them cannot follow chains of logic, because their "Whole armor of God" helmet thing together with their thick skulls just blocks all of it out.
and I an just a few hundred post shy of 6000 posts on Christian forums. com 90% of which are in the appologetics and what was known then as Atheist outreach sub forums. and I will acknowledge that there are some out right nut jobs... but for the most part, the people there are middle of the road. Lots do indeed have questions of aspects of their faith that they simply believe out of a duty to faith, and when cornered will give a stock answer. However in a deeper discussion many will listen. (just like here.. imagine that.)
And if you do take the time to look me up drich0150 you will see my use of hard curse words has been limited, but my harsh nature has not. (I speak to them as I speak here minus a hand full of hard curse words I've used here.) I am not one to try and fool myself or others about who I am at my core because I will or will not say certain words.
That said, even there my 'views' are not in line with the majority of the mainstream. I feel it is important to have dialog with people that would tend to feel more comfortable here at this site than at a highly restrictive Christian site. I feel no one should have to restrict themselves to ask any question. If it is of genuine concern the question should be asked.
