The rail against embryonic stem cell research. The difference? Adult stem cells can be harvested and used without killing the donor, while harvesting stemcells from a baby kills the child.
Educate yourself fool, Before you speak...
Now because of this bann we now have made huge leaps and bounds in stem cell research without the use of the embryonic stem cells.

So the guy that thinks scientists are killing babies to research on their corpses is telling me "to get educated". Well what do you expect from Christians? It's not just that they're stupid, but they're so arrogant about it. They take it as their right to be stupid, because they're "stupid for god".
And let's face it Christians "love" orphans. They love them so much they want more of them and don't want people like gay couples to adopt them, because they're afraid it could dwindle their population. And they also love orphans because they can take money in their name and buy gold and palaces.
This is part of christian doctrine to be against progress because every misery is god's will and you should embrace your misery because Jesus suffered for 5 minutes in that stupid myth and this world is so short anyway, there is other one after you die so why bother, unless it's you in question. That's why Christianity held progress for so long, like when they had more power in medieval times and later, like when there was cure coming for some disease they were always against it. Take syphilis, for instance, doctors had to invent a lie that people can get it by sitting on a toilet because Christians saw syphilis a punishment from god for adulterers, as well as pain so they opposed anesthetics, because they saw pain as cross from god.
That's why Jim Caviezel would rather adopt kid from Africa that has AIDS then providing him with the cure, because AIDS is his cross.
And something also Jim said about his role in "Passion" he said Gibson told him "After that part you won't get another job in this town", to which Jim replied "That's my cross."
Now you can only imagine what they thought, it's like president of the Catholic League said of people seeing "Passion" anti-Semitic: "Hollywood is controlled by secular Jews who hate Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular" - so when they see a guy playing Jesus... I mean forget about getting roles in this town.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
