Is There a Difference Between Trusting Scientists and Trusting Preachers?

If some "x" makes something happen here in our world, science can comment upon it.  There we see your rationalizations in full swing.  Trying to remove your contradictory religious beliefs from scrutiny in the first place.  At what point did you plan on following through with that business of discarding them?

Notice my main sentence/topic/thesis/response of that post.  "It is not a scientific fact that there cannot be supernatural causes to natural events." Again, science cannot tell us anything about this. So, no contradiction. No need to discard my religious beliefs.
