I hold the same opinion. Though for slightly different reasons. I'm against the prohibition laws against nazi symbolism and speech because it would give some of the rightwingers the opportunity to present themselves as the brown assholes they are. Which would lead to less simple protestors voting for them, if they were to fly their real colors.
Some things on the other hand should stay forbidden. Inciting violence shouldn't be allowed as well as calling for the killing of others. Some will react in the desired way and in these instances there shouldn't be a distinction between words and actions.
