When you say that religions have been around for years...that's true, but the abrahamic faiths are some of the newest (and islam the youngest of -them-). Other religions aren't cribbing your ridiculous hadiths, either. The relationship went the other way around.
Finally, the sunni and the shia didn't destroy a damned thing. We get alot of this from evangelicals here in the us, mostly aimed toward catholicism. Not a single "hey, thanks for this turd of a religion you saw fit to grace me with...that I've just carved into something that I think might be more palatable."
I'll leave Napoleon to answer you:
Quote:I hope the time is not far off when I shall be able to unite all the wise and educated men of all the countries and establish a uniform regime based on the principles of the Quran which alone are true and which alone can lead men to happiness.
Honestly, Rhythm, I prefer to listen to Napoleon than to listen to you; no insult but I think he was a better soldier !

And I thought America was pretty much interested in Islam; too?

You can criticize the faith, but I won't take you seriously if you say that it's "a weak deal". Islam is a big one; one heavy faith that famous people -not me- had stated, admitted & declared its importance and uniqueness.

Not fresh and salty water; but "the two seas":
It's not like the Nile becomes salty, or the Mediterranean becomes not salty.

If God followed the standards you draw for him, then that would be a shame, I mean look at hollywood and what human standards of perfection did to lots of innocent people (holywood being an example), what kind of sovereign God would follow your code of standards; really?
Your theory doesn't stand firm, because the Arabic Quran managed to reach Millions of people; and like I said: it's all about the meaning; the book is easy to translate (I'm doing it here right now on this forum), this is not the reason why you won't believe.
You don't believe because you don't wanna believe. It's that simple. Humans in general are nothing more but what they want; many people tried to use "logic" and "proof"; but at the end: to a Christian Jesus is the son of God, to a Jew Palistine is Israel; to Bush Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, to Hitler Germans are the purest form of awesomeness, to me spicy Shrimps are wonderful.
What you want to believe.
