Deeply challenging children from a very poor socio-economic background with little aspiration and second of third generation of unemployment. Their parents are largely uneducated and do not hold any ambitions for their children, but through outreach and local community work, we encourage an ethos of aspiration and ambition to become more than we've been allotted. The north east of England is a place that has been largely betrayed by big politics...sadly.

Cool. Age(s) of the kids? Duties as Deputy Head? That's a title I'm not familiar with.
Kids range from 4 - 11 and duties range from lesson observations, planning, policies, parent and community interaction, behaviour management, multi agency work, safeguarding, child protection, team management, etc.
