I went to my User CP, and inserted the exact same picture you used. It didn't have this effect.
If it is a virus, it seems like an excessively pointless one. Have you tried using another browser? In order to get the effect you are talking about, it seems to me that the browser must insert the additional text when you click Update. If it's not a virus, it's a pretty strange bug.
MY GUESS is that you've used another site running the same BB software, and that some kind of javascript isn't getting automatically refreshed by your browser or something, or that you have a conflict with stylesheets on other sites that have the same name or something like that. So try clearing all your Internet temp data, or using a different browser? Just a stab in the dark, though.

Why don't you copy your page source while the textbox is still active (just before you click update)? I can look at the javascript and see if there's anything in there that will cause the effect you are experiencing.
