How many of them actually perpetrate violent crimes vs the ones who live peaceably?
If the Germans are swayed by anything because of former Nazism, it's that they understand that an entire people shouldn't be painted with a broad brush for the crimes of a few of them.
Let's not go compare Nazism with Islamism and Jihadism. The latter are clearly worse and harder to get rid of because of the religious component.
I highly doubt it that Hitler would've intentionally nuked the world if the atomic bomb would've been invented sooner. Do I know what's going to happen if a Jihadist/Islamist state or well-funded terrorist organization gets its hands on biological or atomic weapons? You bet I do. It's pretty much bye, bye, sweet world.
Initially, he probably wouldn't have done things that permanently spoil the potential Lebensraum for the Aryans with radiation.
Later on though, he became even less sane. Hitler had large parts of Paris wired with explosives to detonate remotely in case of a loss, as well as a huge mass of weaponized gas within southern Germany which he wanted to blow up to destroy the region before the enemy can reach it. Both catastrophes were avoided rather serendipitously.
He would have probably ended the world out of spite if he had had nukes.
