The majority of Libertarians in USA vote and invade the GOP. No matter how much you dispise that, it is a FACT. The American Libertarians vote their economics over their social views...unless...of course...they are YOUR type of Libertarian.
How about a sense of humor? How about an occasional rib poking from yourself? We Progressives are called "Nazi's" by the theo-neo-cons. We have tough skins. I've been a progressive (moderately) since I was 15 years old. That would be 1987.
