Depends on what you mean by "grand scheme". For medical reasons - it's often important to know one's biological parents. All sorts of genetic factors have huge effect on quality of life.
Yes... if you want to get all symantical about it, yes. But there are going to be instances somewhere in the world where knowing one's biological parents just aren't possible and knowing a medical history just isn't possible. Various scenarios.
Without having to list every single solitary scenario, "grand scheme" was/is a generalized term for "getting to the heart of the issue".
That is basically what I was saying.
Trying to avoid overthinking, over-rationalizing, over-anything about this because I think we're dealing with a cousin of LR and it's easier to just use the KISS method, rather than get into deep thought about things.
