You ask us the good things about Clinton and we don't like her. Why insist to know good points from people that obviously don't like her? A few people are so anti 3rd party calling us naïve acting like we are childish for hoping. This is where you start. Things start small. I get that people have been voting 3rd party for years but this is our year to push the hardest. Never have the two main people been so hated. This is the year we get our foot in the door. If we start now and push while we have such a good advantage then the following years will be worth it.

Someone asked why I am not out there moving things now by joining in politics. I have two jobs. I work 7 days a week just to pay my bills. I live in Austin which is why I need the two jobs due to their high prices and I have to be here for my fiancé because his career is what will support our future family and this is where his career is. That being said I can't afford to be a politician. BUT I don't want to just sit by and do nothing so supporting the third party is how I will do it. I have been blasting info about Johnson since I found out about him. I have been sharing statistics and getting his name out there. Since I have started numerous people I know have switched over to him. That is what the 3rd party needs- attention.

Telling us we are naïve and hopeless is how things stay the same. We know we won't win this election but we aren't trying to get to the moon we are trying to just get into space. If I can't be out there moving the mountains myself don't discourage me from lending support to those that can.

I think your efforts are commendable. I am also contemplating a third-party vote, since I am not in a swing state and my voting third-party will have no real effect on the electoral vote outcome. Living in Texas, as you do, puts you pretty much in the same boat.

But tell me, would your vote change if you were a resident of one of the real battleground states? Standing for principle is great, and I am all in favor of bringing more parties to the table, but I would argue that there are circumstances in which choosing what you might consider the lesser of two evils is a positive good. And what are your plans for voting on the down-ticket races, if you don't mind my asking?

No I would not change my decision regardless of which state I was in. Why would I vote for someone I don't want? I'd have to vote for Clinton and then what if she won? I would have no one to blame but myself. I would rather vote hopelessly knowing that the more people that vote 3rd party the more 3rd party is going to gain attention than vote for someone I don't think should be president.
