And..just a little thing.. I've heard a lot of people (including many of my relatives who are older and from the south) complain that they should be doing "real protests" like picketing police offices and protesting on city hall steps and all the 'normal' routes of airing their grievances. They seem to have forgotten that black communities have been doing that for decades and we're still stuck in our current situation. The 'normal' routes of protest have failed them so far, so I can understand why they might turn to something more striking or disruptive.
