Preventing people going on holiday, to the airport, preventing emergency services vehicles getting past, and people in general going to important jobs or just travelling in general.
I was hoping one of them would get run over and killed but that hasn't happened yet.
If any innocent people do die as a result of emergency services not being able to get through or because of these major transport routes being blocked I hope these people are held responsible.
I think you make an interesting point. The first thing you think of when you hear of folks blocking roads and inconveniencing people is vehicular homicide. How would you feel if you had roadblocks put in your way when you were trying to find work, trying to walk on the sidewalk in peace, or trying to get home unmolested; because of the group you were born into? If hearing about other people blocking roads makes you angry, hearing about the obstacles being placed on people's lives to keep them from equal prosperity and power with the dominant group should make you angry too.
