But then they focus on breast cancer.
His point was plainly obvious.
If there's a movement focusing on Islamophobia, transgender rights, racial sexism, classism and racism then why call the group black lives matter.
The title insinuates a prioritization upon one group of people based on racial characteristics just as breast cancer awareness insinuates a prioritization of one single body part.
The title is saying there is a real issue with police brutality in America against black people. We need to focus on that for a bit. It is not saying "Only Black Lives Matter." It is saying "Black Lives Matter As Well," which seems to be something that is forgotten. The racial bias in even reporting these things is obvious. Whenever a black person gets arrested, media plays his mugshot, but a student at Stanford gets convicted of brutally raping an unconscious woman behind a dumpster, and they show his class photo. Black people are routinely convicted and sentenced to longer sentences for the same crime with the same recidivism as white people of the same age and gender. Black people are quite clearly murdered in plain sight by police in this country---and the police are literally never held accountable.
The movement started in America, and the name has recognition now across the globe. So if black people in the UK have co-opted the movement for it's name recognition and added other goals to the platform, that's their business. The original movement has the primary goal of stopping police brutality, stopping the targeting of black youth in criminal justice, and de-militarizing America's police forces.

But breast cancer is actually a problem...?
I'll let you troll someone else. Coward.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
