This is exactly what people did in the 60's to try and end segregation and Jim Crow. The stood in the road. They screwed up the mass transit system with a boycott and caused thousands to be affected. They marched in the streets hand in hand while the nation heaped hatred upon these people looking for the status quo to change. It would be hilarious how much this mirrors the past, except it isn't.
