The real religion?

Still waiting for some evidence of a conspiracy/fraud/less than honest account...

In the meantime, I am going to accept the accounts/facts/period analysis as it was originally written. I have no reason to believe this group of people lied or were confused--especially since my belief in God is properly basic!! 

Look, if you want to be Christian, and believe in the Bible, that's one thing. But no reason?!

Here's a reason-- people can't walk on water due to differences in density and the basic rules of physics. . . but the Bible says someone did. That's a reason to doubt it. Oh yeah, and that whole D&D coming back to life stuff-- you have really to be willing to give up on all critical thought not to at least ask if that happened. Cuz, you know. . . it never, ever does, ya know?

Oh yeah, and the fact that thousands upon thousands were supposed to be flocking to Jesus in amazement, begging him to heal them, etc. . . and that the Romans, perhaps the most obsessive record-keepers of the ancient world, don't bother even to mention him? Yeah, dude. . . you gotta use logic and draw some basic inferences here, buddy.

I don't know about your beliefs, but I can say anyone who hears all of that and doesn't thing here's a "reason" to question it is a properly basic human being.
