Then I'd just ask him if he believes in any other religions, and when he says no, ask "why not?" Then explain to him that the reasons he doesn't believe in those religions are the same reasons you don't believe in his.

he goes like this:
my religion is the truth, all the others are not truth, the bible is the absolute word of god, for it is the only book that explains the origins of words
then he goes into this whole 30 minute explanation on the "origin" of words, saying only the bible explains where "words" come from.. he then asks like.. what was the FIRST word man made, and ill say something liike: prob a shriek of pain that other primates knew was a shriek of pain
and he goes.. NO the first word is the first word of the bible and thats why it is true.
