I doubt that any of the men here are that kind of guy, but that also means it's that much less visible to them. Personally, I've seen this from both perspectives. It definitely becomes much more obvious from the female side of things.(August 27, 2016 at 1:51 pm)ScienceAf Wrote: Are you a gal?
Yes! I asked because you make the statement that men don't catcall that much. Just trying to understand where you're coming from. It's a fair question, don't you think?

This song isn't very good imho. If this was supposed to be talking about feminism, I didn't hear it. The lyrics reminded me of the classic hits that very obviously inspired it (these boots are made for walkin'), so it wasn't saying anything important. I really didn't like the sound, either.
I dunno. Maybe if it was talking about cat calling, I could connect the dots. I really don't think it was though. Maybe objectifying? I think it really just missed the mark though.
Also, sometimes I just like being called pet names. That has nothing to do with feminism.
You're a good normal second wave feminist.
Like every good man who respects women. But you don't see any 2nd wave feminism here. Just maybe some 3rd wave feminism but I can't know till I ask her.
Bleh. I don't want to get into the whole "# wave" crap. I stand with feminists. That's all there is to it.
I don't believe you. Get over it.
