A relevant question perhaps could be what does God have to say on the matter.
So what does "God" say on the matter?
Not even considering going down that rabbit hole. There is a strong double standard and bias in this forum. Understandable the OP being 12, but the nontheists here are very slow to correct eachother.
Many here presume to speak for all Christians as if we are a hive mind. BS. I don't hold to a fraction of the positions most here would state I do, and surely not for the same rationale.
Like I said, what I think, or any solitary person thinks on this issue is going to be irrelevant.
The LGBT issue is extremely sensitive and personal. In regards to Christianity, it is not as simple as a commandment against murder, theft, or the like. Our sexuality is how many of us define ourselves and is much more than a simple act. It is why so many take such a personal offense to it. Perhaps they feel it critiques them at their core.
I do not wish to alienate anyone. Pushing people away is not the example Christ modeled.
